Issue Position

I am dedicated to improving our community and our state by:

* Restoring funding to education, from preschool all the way to post-secondary and
trade schools. Michigan students need the best resources in order to compete for the
best jobs of the future.
* Repealing the tax on seniors' retirement income. Our seniors worked hard their entire
lives, and they shouldn't be the ones paying for a tax cut to corporations.
* Supporting local entrepreneurs. Small businesses account for 70 percent of job
creation, and we need to help them succeed so they can get our neighbors working again.
* Reforming our elections. We shouldn't open our democracy to special interests by
letting even more corporate money into our elections.
